Sciencefiction.com has a list of the top 10 female fantasy characters and topping that list is Xena at #1 and #8 is Gabrielle.

There are many great female fantasy characters, and I am sure some favorites are not on this list. I focused on leaders, on characters who demonstrated strength and authority, and on those who left a lasting impression on me. If you think I have left a character off this list, please let me know who and why a certain character should be on this list.

For this list, characters from traditional fantasy, supernatural, and paranormal works are included.

Elizabeth enjoys the perfect life. A perfect home. A perfect 4 year old daughter, Chelsea. A perfect loving husband, David. Even a kind but quirky next door neighbor, Edith, who keeps apprised of all matters, great or small, in her community. But, something is amiss. David seems troubled since returning from a tour of duty with his guard unit in Iraq. Struggling alone, his resolve breaks as he turns to a higher power for help, leading to a stint in a mental facility. Elizabeth carries on, projecting a brave face, to shield Chelsea from a reality the four year old couldn't possibly understand. From AUSXIP Reporter Gabsfan: Post production for BTFS is moving right along.  They just announced the visual effects team that will be working on the film.  This same VFX team has worked on Batman, Spiderman and John Adams, just to name a few.

The novel based on the screenplay for BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR is now available on Amazon (and I'm sure other places too).  On Amazon, you can get the paperback or Kindle version.  You can also get an Audible audio version.

Amazon has some interesting reviews AND you can read the first few pages of the book.  Spoiler Alert - One of the reviews and the pages you can read (and hear) have a spoiler.  At least it seemed like a plot point spoiler to me after the speculating discussion we had here after seeing the clip from the BTFS website of the emotional Renee scene that obviously takes place at a crime scene.
