Renee Movie Infinity Reviews From Cast and Crew Screening

Image634527844847088870The following was posted on Renee's 5 Ways TV site about her movie Infinity:

Infinity, the short film written and directed by Randy Crowder had its cast and crew screening with invited guests. Click here to read what they said about it.

What is the movie about?

Elizabeth enjoys the perfect life. A perfect home. A perfect 4 year old daughter, Chelsea. A perfect loving husband, David. Even a kind but quirky next door neighbor, Edith, who keeps apprised of all matters, great or small, in her community. But, something is amiss. David seems troubled since returning from a tour of duty with his guard unit in Iraq. Struggling alone, his resolve breaks as he turns to a higher power for help, leading to a stint in a mental facility. Elizabeth carries on, projecting a brave face, to shield Chelsea from a reality the four year old couldn't possibly understand. But, in Poe-esque tradition, bad things happen to good people as this perfect life unravels in the blink of an eye. This tale spirals downward from the unthinkable to the even darker unknown depths of the unimaginable. What if, the eyes truly are the windows to the soul?

Message from Producer of Beyond The Farthest Star

The following was sent to me by Gabsfan regarding Renee's movie "Beyond The Farthest Star"

I am officially calling in the troops! I am sending this message to some of our closest friends and fans for BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR. We are talking to two major distributors on Wednesday. It would be incredible to say we have 7,000 Facebook fans by Wednesday. Currently, we have 6,400 fans. This is an immediate goal. We'd like to see 10K fans by Thanksgiving. I think we can do it if we all work together. "Bring It" votes are now up to 3,000. Please encourage your friends and family to LIKE us on Facebook and vote through the Bring It button on FB & on the site. (The link is below and the big orange BRING IT button is featured on this page). This is a very crucial time for the project as it has a lot of eyes on it. You can help by spreading the word. We are working to finish the film and test screening audiences are moved by what they have seen.

In the next few weeks we will hear from three major film festivals- The Hamptons International, Heartland and Austin Fil m Festival. The novel is available for pre-order through a variety of booksellers including Amazon.com. There will be a lot of attention and buzz. Email, use FB, re-post, call your friends... whatever you can do. Please commit to helping us reach these goals so we can get the film out to the world!

If each of you get 30 people (new LIKES) each by Wednesday, we can make our goal! Please let me know you are set for the challenge!

Sincerely,
Benjamin Dane

Xena and The Rugby World Cup in New Zealand?

Image

What do you mean there is no connection between Xena and The Rugby World Cup? Other than the pic to the left which was a promo for Xena on NZ TV which read "Even Lomu Doesn't Crunch Tackle Like Xena" back in the day.

The Rugby World Cup opening ceremony taking place in Auckland this Friday, 9th September. Expected audience in the worldwide millions.

Where is the Xena connection? The Director of choreography and Head of costumes are - Shona McCullagh and Jane Holland :-) Both of whom worked on Xena.

[Shona was featured on the Who's Gurkhan? behind the scenes footage, she was seen teaching both Lucy & Renee their respective dances. Jane took over from Ngila from Season 5 and appears in a couple of interviews on the Season 5 and Season 6 DVDs]
