Awareness training involves turning our attention inward to specific states of consciousness, with an understanding that this process of self-discovery is to be approached with curiosity, not judgment.

Renee will be at the 2013 Xena Convention in January 2013 (Burbank) but will not be on stage. She will be doing a special "Introduction to Awareness" workshop. No price for this workshop has been posted yet.
"Introduction to Awareness" A SPECIAL WORKSHOP WITH RENEE O'CONNOR (Scheduled for Saturday Morning)
Based on the work of Mary Rocamora, a non profit school for adults, www.Rocamora.org
Awareness is the practice of paying attention to thoughts and emotions with sincere curiosity and withholding any judgments or expectations on what we are truly feeling. This three hour introductory class includes observing our conceptualizations of the Self, as a contrast to realizing our natural essence of Being love, compassion, and light.
MORE INFORMATION IS TO COME ON HOW TO RESERVE YOUR SPACE IN THIS LIMITED ATTENDANCE EVENT.
Please note that Renee is only doing the workshop this year.
Infinity has been selected to screen @ MANHATTAN FILM FESTIVAL, Saturday, June 30 @ 4:30 pm. Hoping all our NY friends can attend. Would greatly appreciate the support.

According to notes on Renee's Facebook page and her website, the date of Renee's October Awareness Training seminar in Austin, TX is being changed. The original date is on a weekend of a University of Texas home football game so hotels are booked up and the prices are higher. Renee is hoping to move it to sometime during late October - early November. She will post an update when the date has been reset.
To our dear Awareness participants:
We chose the first weekend in October because we were told there was no home football game for University of Texas. It turns out that the schedule for the games have changed and now there is a big game that weekend in Austin.
Because of the change in football scheduling our hotel is now fully booked and rates among nearby hotels have skyrocketed.
We are looking into moving the seminar to a hotel by the airport. And although not ideal for walking around in the evening, it is not our intention to have you pay such a high premium for a hotel room. We would like to hear any comments on moving to another weekend altogether. We'd like to know if anyone has made non refundable reservations and how we can help you organize a move.
Please email info@iamaware.info with your feedback if you are attending.
In the interview below which was posted yesterday Renee pointed out that the Women in Filmmaking panel Renee will be on has been moved from Saturday June 2 to Sunday June 3 at 3:10PM.
