The Top 20 TV Spin Off Shows of All-Time - Xena!

Sometimes a character on a TV show becomes so popular that viewers want to see more and more of them, so much so that the original TV show is no longer capable of meeting their needs. Other times a TV show plants the seeds of a narrative that is too promising to be neglected but too big to be crammed into its initial confines, meaning that it needs its own TV show to flourish. Whatever the exact cause, there have been numerous spin-offs on the TV screen, including a fair number that were outstanding on their own merits.

Here are 20 of the top TV spin-offs of all time:

ImageNumber 8: Xena: Warrior Princess

Xena started out as a recurring character who was scheduled to die after three episodes on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. However, she became so popular that she received her own TV show, Xena: Warrior Princess, which became so popular that it soon surpassed its source. As a result, there is still a cult following for the TV show as well as hundreds and hundreds of tie-in products, which speak volumes about its continuing influence.

Looking for Australian and NZ Xena Fans For Australian Magazine Feature On How Xena Changed Your Life

xena-reunion-photo

If you are Aussie and or a Kiwi Xenite, this notice is for you.

I've been contacted by the Features Writer of That's Life magazine here in Australia. They would like to feature a Xena superfan (which is pretty much every fan) and in particular women who have been really touched by Xena in some way (I didn't write that, Beth, the features writer wrote that). They are looking for fans who have been inspired by the show and how that has changed their lives ie (having a Xena themed wedding, changing some major in your life etc).

It would involve a phone interview and sending some pics. The article is not a gotcha interview (if you are worried about this). You will have a chance to preview the article in full before it goes to print.
So, if you are interested, get in touch with me and I'll give Beth your details.

Requirements:

- You must be an Australian or New Zealand Xena fan.
- Xena must have touched your life and you have made changes because of her
- You're willing to tell your story

Okay? Awesome. If you are that fan, contact me on http://ausxip.com/contact.html
