Exclusive Renee O'Connor Interview - 2008 Burn Relay - 26 April 2008
Interviewed by AUSXIP sidekicks Christa and KT
Renee once again agreed to be interviewed by Christa (and KT this
time) at Southern California Firefighters Burn Relay which was held
in Los Angeles on 26 April 2008. Renee's first interview with the
AUSXIP team was on 28 April 2007 and this is the follow up
interview. She talks about working on various projects such as
Criminal Minds, Boogeyman 2, Diamonds and Guns, working with Lucy on
Bitch Slap and the great time she had in working with Lucy once
again. Renee also reveals she is ready to start work on her new
independent film and also thanks the fans in their support for the
Alissa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation and the Renee O'Connor Outreach
Fund. In addition there are two blooper clip which are just
hysterical.
Many thanks to Renee for graciously agreeing to this second
interview with AUSXIP!

It has been confirmed by Scott Vandrick, Executive Director Alisa
Ann Ruch Burn Foundation that Renee will be at this year's Burn
Relay
The finale event at #118 will start at 3pm-ish. Station #118 is
located at 17056 Gale Avenue, City of Industry, CA 91745.
Below is the information: WHAT: The Los Angeles
Firefighter Burn Relay – an opportunity to raise funds and recognize
the fire service for all of their support of the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn
Foundation’s programs and services.
WHEN: Saturday, April 26, 2008 beginning at 6:00 a.m. and
ending at 4:00 p.m.
WHERE: Starting point is Los Angeles County Fire
Department Headquarters, Station #118, located at 17056 Gale Avenue,
City of Industry, CA 91745. A bus leaves at 6:00 a.m. and will
transport all of the participating volunteers to the Santa Monica
Airport (the starting point for both teams of the relay). Breakfast
will be served. The relay will end up back at Station #118.
If you are in the area - please go and support the firefighters
and also Renee!

There is a very amusing review of Criminal Minds with Renee...
Well. and Well again. I'm tempted to subtitle this episode, "The
Ballad of Doubting Derek" because boy, howdy, was he ever the sour
note for the team this week. Yes, yes, I know, there's always got to
be someone who plays Devil's Advocate, but sheesh, D-Man, d'ya think
you could give it up once there's a preponderance of evidence??

a cell phone (now, all you Xenites out there... how freaking STRANGE

Okay so that announcement yesterday
on Michael Hurst's website wasn't an April Fool's Joke :)
This is Lucy's Message about it:
I also did a small role as Mother
Superior, alongside the gorgeous, Renee O'Connor in BITCHSLAP, who
is a naughty novice in the convent. She is confessing her dark
fantasies to my character -- just as she does in real life. Ha-ha,
not really....Read

and this was the message yesterday (I owe ya Susan) :)
There's a new movie being made that will feature all four of the
Herc/Xena stars--but it's not a Herc or Xena movie. It's called
Bitch Slap. Michael Hurst is starring as a gangster named Gage and
Kevin Sorbo is playing the role of Mr. Phoenix, with cameos by Lucy
Lawless as Mother Superior and Renee O'Connor as Sister Batrille.
Stunts are being coordinated and performed by Xena stunt double Zoe
Bell, and the film is written and produced by Eric Gruendemann and
Rick Jacobson; Jacobson is also directing. Eric was Co-Executive
Producer of Hercules, Xena, Young Hercules, Jack of All Trades, and
Cleopatra 2525, and Rick Jacobson directed two episodes of Hercules
and twelve of Xena.
Filming is currently in progress in California.
