Renee French Interview Update

ImageOn 26 September 2010 I posted the news about an interview with Renee conducted by Unification France. Unfortunately the interview is in French and I used Babel Fish to translate it. Also unfortunate is that sometimes Babel Fish gets the translation wrong so I asked our French speaking ROC fans to have a look at the interview and see if the news that Renee said that Ark is going to be a tv series:

Many thanks to Sylvie and to Condorcet who said that the Babel Fish translation was accurate and "she said that there was some possibility of a TV series (there could be a TV series)."

So there you have it. I wonder if Renee will be appearing in the tv series if Ark does make it to tv.

Renee Interview in French - Ark A TV Series?

ImageUnification France has an interview with Renee. Unfortunately for those who can't speak French, you may have to fire up Babel Fish and have the interview translated.

According to Babel Fish translation (maybe a french speaking fan can tell me if this is correct) Renee said that Ark is going to be a tv series:

Can you say some to us more?
It is the history of Connie, a unmarried mother who finds herself transported in a spaceship of the Fifties. Heroin has a common point with Gabrielle, it is a strong character, one beating. The series received very warm welcome and could become soon television series.

and Renee's movies:

Which are your current projects?

I finished three films recently. The first, Fitful leaves this year. I play there the part of a civil servant charged to index to classify them and who is confronted with strange phenomena. The second is a remake of Moby Dick in the course of post-production and which should leave directly in DVD, on November 23, 2010. The third, Beyond the farthest stars, will leave as for him in 2011. Lastly, the next year, I will turn has State Of Hate, where I interpret a police inspector plunged in the medium of Ku Klux Klan.

Renee's Movie 2010 Moby Dick For DVD Release 23 November 2010

Renee's movie 2010 Moby Dick is scheduled to be released on 23 November 2010.

Renee plays the role of Ishmael (in the book Ishmael is male).

What is the story about:

Moby-Dick, written in 1851, recounts the adventures of the narrator Ishmael as he sails on the whaling ship Pequod under the command of Captain Ahab.

Ishmael believes he has signed onto a routine commission aboard a normal whaling vessel, but he soon learns that Captain Ahab is not guiding the Pequod in the simple pursuit of commerce but is seeking one specific whale, Moby-Dick, a great while whale infamous for his giant proportions and his ability to destroy the whalers that seek him. Captain Ahab's wooden leg is the result of his first encounter with the whale, when he lost both leg and ship. But Captain Ahab is bent on revenge and he intends to get Moby-Dick.

Ahab demonstrates erratic behavior from the very beginning and his eccentricities magnify as the voyage progresses. As the novel draws to a conclusion, the Pequod encounters the whaling ship Rachel. The Rachel's captain asks Ahab to help him in a search and rescue effort for his whaling-crew that went missing the day before - and the captain's son is among the missing. But when Ahab learns that the crew disappeared while tangling with Moby-Dick he refuses the call to aid in the rescue so that he may hunt Moby-Dick instead.

The encounter with Moby-Dick brings a tragic end to the affair. Ishmael alone survives, using his friend Queequeg's coffin as a flotation device until he is ironically rescued by the Rachel, which has continued to search for its missing crew.

The novel is not only a great American classic, but is also heralded as one of greatest novels in the English language. I hope you enjoy reading it.

In A Time of Ancient Gods, Warlords and Kings....

In A Time of Ancient Gods, Warlords and Kings....
Written by MaryD

ImageIn the time of ancient Gods, Warlords and Kings, a land in turmoil cried out for a hero...and we found her..actually we found two of them!

The story goes back to March 1995 and not September 1995. It goes back to a time of gods and kings and to the legendary Hercules. Xena was born on Hercules on 13 March 1995. We all know what happened; we know the history but because I'm writing a 15 year tribute...we go down memory lane.
